Dreesen's is a family run business.  Husband and wife team Rudy & Christina (pictured here with their sons Rudy & Patrick- truly a family affair) have been catering in the Hamptons for more than 25 years.  Rudy first began catering in the family business started by his grandfather, Dreesen’s Excelsior Market, a full service grocery and butcher shop which became as famous for their homemade Dreesen’s Donuts as they were for their prime meats and homestyle food. When the family closed Dreesen’s Market in 2004, Rudy & Christina started Dreesen’s Catering, a full service catering company now located in a brand new commercial kitchen facility in East Hampton that Rudy designed himself.

Rudy was born and raised in East Hampton. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and also has a BS in Business Management from SUNY Cortland.  Christina grew up in Sag Harbor, and has a BS in Business Management from Ithaca College.  Catering is a team effort- Christina is the event planner, assisting clients with designing menus, coordinating tents and rentals and all of the other many details involved in planning a special event.  Rudy is the head chef and manages the commercial kitchen & culinary arts side.
